Shannon and Colin's Wedding

Carlo Obillos, a very fun, contemporary photographer, gave me the opportunity to shoot a wedding with him.  I gladly took him up on this offer.  Here are some of the shots I got at Shannon and Colin's wedding, such a fun couple to photograph.

Teresa and Keith's Wedding

I was approached by my brother's good friend Teresa to shoot her wedding this summer.  This was my first actual wedding shooting as the photographer.  It was a total learning experience opening my eyes to the world of photography, and how to take pictures in the moment.  I loved every second of it.
Here are some of the photos of Teresa getting ready---she looked absolutely stunning.

The wedding took place at OSCVI High School...very fitting to have the wedding party arrive on a school bus.

These two were so fun to photograph, they were impossible to take a bad picture of, impossible!

We went to the bayshore to get shots of the wedding party, the rain made for some creative ideas, involving umbrellas.

The umbrella shots turned out to be my favourite! The original photograph is much lighter, I darkened this one to create silouettes.

The silouettes allows for the umbrellas to stand with the figures, and everything to be connected.
Hope you dig it!
